The Twelve Days of Christmas

Each panel measures 60cm wide x 112cm long and features a gold print on the highlights for a bit of Xmas sparkle.

If you have problems remembering the words to the 12 Days of Christmas - hang this on your wall every Christmas and you'll never have to remember the words again.

I looked up the history of the carol and learnt a couple of things

The 12 Days of Christmas starts on 25th December and runs through until 6th January.  Day 1 is the birth of Christ and day 12 is the arrival of the 3 wise men - I learnt something today.

References to the carol go back to 1780 as a memory game but the version we know was written by Frederic Austin in 1909

Back it with a plain fabric, hang it off a piece of dowel and you'll have a simple wall hanging for Christmas.  Alternatively, fancy it up with beads, sequins, trims and create a bigger quilt or panel
